Job summary

Agropur Cooperative recherche un préposé d’entrepôt polyvalent à temps partiel pour soutenir la production et les expéditions. Vous vous occuperez du chargement et déchargement, de la préparation des commandes et du réassortiment dans un environnement froid.

Le poste exige une licence Classe 1 et une expérience en entrepôt, avec capacité de lever jusqu’à 50 lb et disponibilité sur tous les quarts (jour, soir, nuit). Avantages après probation et primes possibles.

Qualifications

• Possède une licence classe 1.
• Expérience avec un chariot élévateur recommandée.
• Capacité à soulever jusqu’à 50 lb.
• Expérience en entrepôt et gestion des stocks souhaitée.

Responsibilities

• Soutenir la production en faisant fonctionner les machines d’emballage et en exécutant les tâches d’expédition et de réception.
• Travailler dans un environnement frais ou congelé et préparer les commandes clientes, charger les camions et réapprovisionner les stocks.
• Utiliser le système de traçage au sol, le chariot élévateur, les transpalettes et les gerbeurs.
• Couverture temporaire en cas d’absence des employés à temps plein, avec horaires variables sur 24/7.

Execution is measured by impact and value created—not the number of actions.***An environment that lets you focus on what really matters:*** Starting wage of $29.75 per hour, up to $42.50 per hour* Starting wage is $42.50 if you have you Class 1 licence.* Evening and night premiums* Schedule is 4 days - 9 hours (day, evening or night)* Excellent benefits package is offered after successful completion of a probationary period. **Your role in achieving results:*** Support production by running dairy case machines and executing shipping and receiving warehouse tasks.* Working in a cooler/freezer environment, the General Relief (warehouse person) prepares customer orders, loads trucks, rotates and replenishes stock, cleans and does other duties including inventory.* Working with a team or independently the incumbent will also use an in floor track system, fork-lift, pallet jacks, and reach jacks.* Coverage work in the cooler for full-time employees who are away for holidays, vacations, sick time, or other absences, with general relief employees working varying schedules across a 24/7 operation. **What we are looking for to deliver these results:*** You must have a class 1 driver licence* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs* Availability to work all shifts (day, afternoon, graveyard)* Experience on the Forklift* Knowledge of Cooler/Freezer operations (asset)* Class 1 preferred* Able to communicate stock related needs and concerns effectively and proactively, assist in ordering stock items and maintain inventory control procedures* Ability to work with minimal supervision and as a team member* Ability to properly receive and document all incoming goods* Able to maintain a clean and safe workplace* Responsible for maintaining forklift, pallet jack and other related warehousing equipment* Perform any other duties as required under the direction of management and/or Assistant Foreman* Physically fit with good attendance and safety record* Ability to read, write and do basic math
