Job summary

Staples Canada in Calgary is hiring for a full-time warehouse associate. You will receive, store, and move products using equipment under the direction of a supervisor, with a 11am–7:30pm shift.

The role requires at least 3 months in a warehouse, experience with forklift, cherry picker and pallet jack, and willingness to get certified. Staples Canada offers benefits, employee discount, RRSP matching, and learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) months' related experience in a warehouse environment.
• Experience with warehouse equipment such as forklift, cherry picker and pallet jack preferred.
• Ability and interest to become certified in the operation of warehouse equipment will be considered.

Shift: Full-time, Mon-Fri, 11am-7:30pm

Wage: $17.20

Additional Requirements Information

Work requires moderate physical effort and the use of motor skills requiring manual dexterity to perform the essential duties of this job:

• The employee will regularly sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel and crouch. The employee may lift, lower, or carry products up to a maximum of 50 pounds by hand.
• The employee will operate warehouse equipment. Using proper safety procedures will eliminate any potential hazards.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
