Job summary

A staffing agency is seeking Warehouse Operators in Windsor, Ontario, to handle waste management tasks. The ideal candidate has forklift experience and is comfortable with both indoor and outdoor work. The position offers $25-$26.35 per hour, consists of 12-hour shifts, and is temp-to-permanent for the right applicant. Training is provided for successful candidates.

  • Perform labor-intensive activities like container collection and sorting recyclables.
  • Report any unsafe conditions or incidents to the supervisor.

Our Waste Management client located in Windsor Ontario is looking for Warehouse Operators with Forklift experience to start early November. You must be comfortable handling and transporting waste, training will be provided for all successful applicants.

What we offer:
  • $25-$26.35 an hour
  • 12 hours shifts – straight days and nights available; 3 days one week and 4 days the next week
  • This is a temp‑to‑permanent position for the right person
  • Paid weekly
What you will be doing:
  • Driving forklifts indoors and outdoors, transporting waste and materials to the warehouse
  • Support the Sustainability Services on‑site program, including manual labor associated with chemical handling, lab pack duties, drum movements within the facility, and drum bulking
  • Ensure proper waste segregation, meet regulatory shipment windows, adhere to container labeling, maintain good housekeeping, and keep accurate tracking logs
  • Collect, pour, transfer, consolidate, repackage, and package solid, liquid, and sludge material
  • Perform labor‑intensive activities such as container or drum collection, drum bulking, sorting trash for recyclables, and loading trucks
  • Immediately report any unsafe conditions, incidents, injuries, or property damage to the supervisor
  • Follow Environmental and Quality Management System (ISO 14001 / 9001) policies, procedures, and operational controls related to job responsibilities
Who you are:
  • Forklift Truck Experience is a must

  • This position is a combination of indoor and outdoor work, so you must be comfortable in all conditions
