Scope of the Position

The delivery driver staff are responsible for delivering orders and products to customers on a daily basis. They are responsible for driving to and from the pickup location to the destination, delivering goods/products and collecting the payment. They must ensure that they have the correct names and addresses of customers, and stay in contact with dispatchers for additional pick‑ups. It is their duty to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the delivery vehicle and to ensure the safe delivery of the product without any delay or damage.

Major Responsibilities
  • Loading and unloading trucks
  • Makes sure that incoming and outgoing products and material are in good condition
  • Pick‑up and deliver various items and products
  • Use maps and other trip planning aids
  • Perform pre‑trip inspection of the vehicle
  • Record trip information i.e., vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any issues
  • Responsible for carrying out any other duties assigned by management
Skills and Qualifications
  • Valid G license
  • Clean driver’s abstract and CVOR
  • Experience driving a 3‑ton, 5‑ton, and flatbed
  • Responsible and reliable
