Summary

The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for the timely execution of all activities and decisions associated with inventory control, ordering of raw material, account management, supply chain, customer service, purchasing and/or scheduling in support of the daily functions of the warehouse and production departments.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Performs administrative and general office/clerical duties in support of the warehouse and production departments
  • Work cooperatively with other associates, vendors and carriers with minimal supervision
  • Enter orders/data into the Order Management system via EDI, Telephone, Fax, or Email
  • Follow up on expedited orders and order changes
  • Handle short and long term projects and manage multiple tasks with prioritization
  • Arrange shipments by confirming stock, determining inventory levels and placing/expediting deliveries
  • Maintain product knowledge of WinCup product line
  • Demonstrate detailed orientation and time management skills
  • Build relationships with internal and external suppliers, customers and internal teams
  • Schedule inbound and/or outbound activities to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Demonstrate problem solving and analytical skills; understand the supply chain process
  • Proactively solve complex issues
  • Maintain professional appearance and conduct
  • Purchase raw materials and packaging products
  • Perform cycle counts and reports for finished goods and raw materials
  • Inform leadership immediately of any failure to meet quality standards and support corrective actions
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a warehouse coordinator, warehouse expeditor, inventory scheduling or related role
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in supply chain and order entry
  • Strong problem solving and decision making skills; organized and able to follow up
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel)
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English
  • Forklift operation certification preferred
Physical Demands

The following describe the physical demands typically associated with this role. Note: office positions inside manufacturing plants may require plant floor presence.

  • Active listening and information exchange in a fast-paced environment
  • Frequent use of production equipment and machinery
  • Regularly move/transport materials weighing up to 50 pounds; bending, twisting and reaching
  • May be required to stand for long periods (up to 8, 10 or 12 hours)
  • May require talking, walking, sitting; handling and feeling objects and controls; reaching with arms; stooping, kneeling, crawling or crouching
Working Conditions

The work environment is typically an indoor manufacturing setting and may include exposure to extreme heat, loud noises and odors. PPE such as hairnet, hearing protection and safety glasses with side guards are required. Overtime and weekend work may be designated as needed.
