The Gear Centre Group in West Edmonton is seeking a Warehouse Worker to join our team. You will handle shipping and receiving, ensuring accuracy of orders, and support other duties as required.

You must have at least 1 year warehouse experience, be proficient with MS Office, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Forklift certification is an asset. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and competitive wages.

Job description

The Gear Centre Group, a leading provider of powertrain parts and service for the automotive, heavy truck and off highway equipment industries, is currently seeking to fill a Warehouse Worker position for our West Edmonton location.

As a Warehouse Person you will be responsible for shipping and receiving of product while ensuring accuracy of orders along with other duties as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinating all shipping and receiving of products
• Recording and properly storing product received into inventory
• Occasional deliveries using a company half-ton truck may be required

Experience:

• A minimum of 1 year of previous warehouse experience is required
• Proficient in MS Office with the ability to learn other software programs as required

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail ensuring accuracy of all orders
• Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills
• Ability to safely operate forklift and pallet jack
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliability, self-initiative and the ability to multitask
• Exceptional customer service skills

Other Requirements:

• Must have a valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driver’s abstract
• Valid forklift certification is considered an asset
