Ledcor Group is seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to support efficient material flow on an active construction project in Edmonton, AB. You will handle shipping, receiving, inventory control, and distribution, working closely with project and materials teams to ensure materials are available where and when needed.

Your role involves organizing documentation, operating material-handling equipment, and maintaining accurate records to prevent project delays.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years in warehouse, materials, logistics, or construction industry.
  • Experience in civil infrastructure, transit, or commercial construction is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and attention to detail with accurate inventory records.

Responsibilities

  • Ship, receive, handle and store materials safely and accurately per procedures.
  • Coordinate with project teams, suppliers and stakeholders for timely material issue and distribution.
  • Maintain inventory records via cycle counts, stock checks, and system updates.
  • Organize SDS, MTR and other material documentation.
  • Operate, inspect and maintain material-handling equipment per safety guidelines.
  • Unload deliveries, verify against packing slips and POs, resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare orders for delivery or pickup including picking, packing, labeling and shipping.
  • Monitor stock levels and communicate low-inventory items for replenishment.
  • Prepare reports on damaged, short or overage materials and delivery discrepancies.

Job description

You are an experienced Warehouse Coordinator responsible for supporting the efficient flow of materials across an active construction project, including accurate shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material distribution. You will be an integral part of the Ledcor team supporting an LRT expansion project in Edmonton, AB, working closely with project and materials teams to ensure the right materials are available where and when they are needed. Essential Responsibilities:
  • Ensure materials are shipped, received, handled, and stored safely, accurately, and in accordance with project procedures
  • Coordinate with project teams, field personnel, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to support the timely issue and distribution of materials
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts, stock checks, system updates, and supporting documentation
  • Contribute materials and warehousing expertise to improve operational efficiency, site logistics, and material‑control processes
  • Maintain and organize Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Material Test Reports (MTR), and other required material documentation
  • Operate, inspect, and maintain material‑handling equipment in accordance with safety requirements and manufacturer guidelines
  • Unload deliveries, verify materials against packing slips and purchase orders, identify discrepancies, and distribute inventory to designated project areas
  • Prepare orders for delivery or pickup, including picking, loading, packing, wrapping, labelling, staging, and shipping
  • Monitor stock levels, communicate low‑inventory items, and support timely replenishment to prevent project delays
  • Prepare reports related to damaged or defective materials, shortages, overages, and delivery discrepancies
Qualifications:
  • 1‑2 years of warehouse, materials, logistics, or construction industry experience, preferably in a high‑volume project environment
  • Experience supporting civil infrastructure, transit, commercial construction, or a comparable project environment is an asset
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate inventory and material records
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and adapt to changing project demands in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with project teams, field personnel, suppliers, and other stakeholders
  • Forklift and/or telehandler operator certification and related operating experience are assets
  • Proficiency with inventory systems and Microsoft Office applications is an asset
  • Successful completion of pre‑employment drug and alcohol testing may be required
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and contribute effectively within a team environment
