Your Mission:

The Warehouse Clerk participates in the execution of warehousing activities involved in shipping and receiving goods in and out of Epiroc warehouses. They will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and seamless reception, storage, packing, order picking and shipping of equipment and parts.

Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate powered industrial lift truck to transport inventory, unload inbound trucks and load outbound trucks.
  • Pulls and stages orders for shipment.
  • Replenish and restock approved inbound shipments into their proper locations.
  • Ensure pallets and shelving units are in good working condition to handle loads being stock.
  • Unpack, verify and record incoming shipments. Ensure received material is in compliance with purchase orders regarding identification, type, quantities, part numbers, etc.
  • Visually inspect goods or materials received for damage from handling and transit. Process damage reports in accordance with procedures. Notify supervisor when products are damaged in order to coordinate freight damage claims where necessary.
  • Input receiving documentation into the related computer system.
  • Remove, recycle and dispose of unneeded packing materials.
  • Process in a timely matter returns from customers and service departments.
  • Pick client orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
  • Visually inspect all products prior to completing client orders.
  • Weigh completed orders and record product weights prior to packaging.
  • Move products safely using forklift, pallet jack or dock loader.
  • Perform daily inspection of forklift prior to use. Record results of inspection as outlined and report any malfunctions to supervisor.
  • Participate in physical inventory and cycle counts.
  • Maintain the work area in a neat, clean and orderly condition; Complete daily housekeeping, and safety inspections in TIA.
  • Rotate stock as needed.
  • Comply with the organization’s environmental, health & safety, recycling, sustainability efforts and quality assurance policies and standards.
  • Monitor equipment and report any problems or deficiencies to supervisor.
  • Perform other task and duties as required.
Your profile:
EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum one to two years working in material handling or similar warehouse environment.
KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION:
  • Minimum High School Degree
  • Certified forklift operating license an asset
