Job summary

ContainerWorld is seeking Warehouse Associates for our Richmond, British Columbia facility. The role involves inspecting and verifying incoming products, hand bombing and picking orders, and performing other general warehouse duties.

This is a unionized, on-site position with varied shifts and full training provided. Applicants must be at least 19 years old and legally eligible to work in Canada, with the ability to lift up to 45 lbs and read safety instructions.

Qualifications

  • Ability to lift up to 45 lbs on a regular basis.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating, maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Basic math skills are required for daily tasks.

ContainerWorld is currently recruiting for Warehouse Associates for our Richmond, B.C. facility!!!

We are a state-of-the-art forwarding, warehousing and distribution Company. We have a Warehouse Management System to include voice picking, interleaved put-away/replenishment and license plated inventory with RF scanning. Our automation also includes an ERP, CRM, Truckmate, Sage, Kronos and other applications to prime us for present and future expansions. ContainerWorld actively supports Lean Six Sigma concepts. ContainerWorld Group of Companies are divisions under the Mullen Group, publicly traded on TSX.

Working Days:

Must be able to work all shift (Unionized environment)

Monday – Friday – 10:00 am -6.30 pm (Primary shift for all Probationary or newer employees)

Monday – Thursday – 7:00 pm - 5:30 am

Position Overview:

Working mainly independently with guidance from Warehouse Supervisor as required, prepare products for shipment, and receive incoming products.

What you’ll do:

  • Inspect and verify incoming products
  • Hand bombing and picking orders
  • Other general warehouse duties as assigned

What you’ll need:

  • Be at least 19 years of age and legally eligible to work in Canada
  • Ability to lift to 45lbs on a regular basis
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
  • Basic math skills a must
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
