Job summary

UPS is seeking a part-time, permanent Package Handler at 2900 Steeles Ave W, Concord, ON. Work Tue-Sat from 4:00am to 9:00am, 3-5 hours per day, with a minimum 25 hours per week. You will load/unload, sort by postal codes, and follow established handling methods.

Compensation starts at $18.50/hr with automatic progression under the Union Collective Agreement (top rate $36.53/hr after 48 months). Benefits include tuition reimbursement, paid training, weekly pay, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 70 lbs (35 kg).
• Full availability Monday to Saturday.
• Able to read and memorize postal codes.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Comfortable working inside truck trailers and package delivery vehicles.
• Warehouse experience is an asset.

Job Type: Part-Time - Permanent. Work Location: 2900 Steeles Ave W, Concord, ON L4K3S2. Workdays: Tuesday to Saturday - 4:00am to 9:00am. Shift Duration: 3-5 hours per day *(Flexibility is required with both the start and finish times). All Applicants must work a minimum 25 hrs/week.

• Learn and properly execute company-established package handling methods
• Sort and stock packages based on postal codes

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. (35kg)

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment

Compensation and Benefits

• $18.50/hr. / automatic progression as per the existing Union Collective Agreement.

Expenses / Working Conditions
