Job summary

Sysco in Vancouver, BC seeks a General Warehouse Worker to perform order picking, packing, shipping/receiving, and inventory tasks in a fast-paced warehouse. You will operate pallet jacks and a stand-up electric counterbalance forklift and support safe, accurate operations.

You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, follow safety procedures, use scanners, and work evenings, nights, and weekends as needed. A high school diploma and forklift certification are preferred assets; prior warehouse

Qualifications

• 1–2 years warehouse, distribution, or general labor experience preferred.
• Valid stand-up electric counterbalance forklift certification is an asset.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout shift.
• Basic computer and scanner skills for inventory and order processing.

Responsibilities

• Receive, ship, inventory handling, and order fulfillment.
• Maintain a safe, organized work environment and report hazards.
• Achieve daily and weekly targets for pick/pack accuracy and productivity.
• Plan daily workflow to ensure efficient order processing and timely delivery.
• Operate pallet jacks, dollies, and a stand-up forklift as needed.
• Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accuracy.
• Load/unload trucks and secure loads to prevent damage.
• Follow SOPs and safety protocols across shifts.
