Trail Appliances in Langford, BC is hiring a Warehouse Associate to handle receiving, packing and shipping, while maintaining accurate inventory. You will operate warehouse equipment, follow safety procedures and collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes.

The role offers a starting wage of 23.00 CAD per hour with annual wage progression, a Tuesday–Saturday schedule, and a 40-hour work week in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of warehouse experience is preferred.
• Experience with reach trucks is required.
• Stand-up counter balance experience and certification is required.
• Forklift certificate is preferred.
• Ability to work weekends and 40-hour weeks.

Responsibilities

• Processing and packing incoming customer orders in preparation for shipping
• Receiving, verifying, unpacking and sorting incoming materials in an organized fashion
• Maintaining accurate inventory records through the use of a warehouse management system
• Safe operation of warehousing equipment in accordance with safety procedures
• Maintaining warehouse safety and cleanliness
• Have a Stand-up/Sit-down counter balance experience and certification.
• Carton Clamp operation desired
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Have 2 years warehouse experience preferred
• Have Reach truck experience
• Have an ability to do some lifting and meet physical demands
• Forklift Certificate preferred
• Be able to work on weekends
• Working in a fast-paced environment and prioritizing tasks
• Collaborating with internal departments to coordinate the warehouse processes
• Schedule : 40 hours per week
