Job summary

RXO Inc. in Calgary, Alberta is seeking a Warehouse Associate for the 1st shift to support shipping and receiving and ensure orders are processed efficiently. You will unload trucks, check in merchandise, read orders, and distribute items to sales staff while maintaining a safe warehouse environment.

The role requires basic communication, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift at least 75 pounds. Prior dock/warehouse experience and handheld scanner use are a plus, with flexible shifts

Qualifications

• Basic written and verbal communication skills.

• Dock or warehouse experience in transportation.
• Experience loading and unloading trailers and using handheld scanners.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing at least 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching orders and distributing to sales associates.
• Read customer orders and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed or shipped.
• Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for employees and customers.
• Assemble products and participate in inventory counts as needed.
• Take check calls from drivers and validate load data prior to delivery for accounting.
• Monitor daily pickups and deliveries to verify on-time arrival and condition.
