  • Pull stock and return to location.
  • Cut and spool wire.
  • Maintain counter stock and assist with customer service.
  • Progressively receive training on operating forklifts.

Program Overview

As a Warehouse Associate you will participate in a 18‑month trainee program focused on basic warehouse tasks including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, wire cutting, light assembly, and housekeeping.

Responsibilities
  • Complete local safety orientation and training courses.
  • Shadow experienced Warehouse Operations associates on verification of supplier inbound, customer returns, branch returns, and entry of order receipts into computer and RF systems.
  • Place received material, after segregating backorders, into proper storage locations.
  • Fill out log sheets for inbound overages, shortages, damages or non‑compliant material.
  • Use manual or RF processes to pick, pack, weigh and ship product.
  • Assist in packing, labeling, wrapping and loading inbound/outbound trucks.
  • Use system‑generated or manually prepared local delivery records and complete pick‑ticket blocks.
  • Verify return policy guidelines before issuing credit for returned material.
  • Pull stock and return to location pending credit memo, sale, or return to supplier.
  • Cut and spool wire.
  • Maintain counter stock and assist with customer service activities.
  • Progressively receive training on operating a forklift and pallet jacks.

Working Environment

Warehouse; moderate noise; well ventilated and well lit. Employees may be exposed to weather and may be required to wear protective clothing and operate heavy equipment under strict safety regulations.

Physical Expectations
  • Work is physically strenuous; lift heavy packages up to 50 lbs.
  • Excessive bending or stooping may be required.
  • Walk long distances repeatedly throughout the day.
  • Use hand tools.
