Job description
Overview

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the accurate, efficient, and safe handling of all inbound and outbound goods at the Canadian warehouse. This role ensures that customer shipments are fulfilled on time, inventory is maintained with accuracy, and all warehouse operations are conducted in compliance with company and safety standards. The position requires attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. You will report to the Business Development Branch Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Schedule, pick, pack and ship parcel and freight shipments
  • Receive all inbound shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect for damage or discrepancies.
  • Unload and load freight shipments safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment.
  • Accurately pick, pack, and prepare outbound orders for parcel, LTL, and international shipments.
  • Generate and process shipping documents using UPS Worldship, FedEx, and LTL carrier systems.
  • Ensure all outgoing goods are properly labeled, packaged, and documented to meet customer and carrier requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and organized warehouse inventory through daily transactions and cycle counts.
  • Conduct physical inventory checks and assist with quarterly and year-end audits.
  • Coordinate with customer service and logistics teams to ensure on-time and complete delivery of customer orders.
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and adherence to 5S and safety standards.
  • Report inventory discrepancies, equipment issues, or safety concerns immediately to management.
  • Support general warehouse duties including product labeling, staging, and restocking of shelves.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehouse, shipping, or receiving role.
  • Experience with parcel and LTL carrier systems (UPS, FedEx, Purolator, etc.).
  • Ability to lift 35–50 pounds throughout the shift.
  • Previous experience using ERP systems (SAP, QuickBooks, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire).
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 and basic PC skills.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
