About The Position

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team in Saskatoon. The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for all functions associated with material warehousing including picking orders, shipping and receiving. The Warehouse Associate will perform all duties in a timely and orderly fashion to the best of their abilities and with the utmost due care, integrity and professionalism. Duties
  • General Duties: Read and comply with ECCO’s Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
  • Maintain good working relationship with all co-workers and ECCO employees
  • Read and comply with ECCO’s Human Resources Policies and Procedures
  • Assist in the success of ECCO’s Safety Program with suggestions and by setting a good example, also by ensuring that safety is at the forefront of your actions while at work
  • Adhere to shipping and receiving policies, procedures and regulatory compliance procedures
  • Receive all manufacturing and resale products accurately in a timely fashion and in compliance with ECCO’s receiving procedures
  • Maintain the warehouse, receiving areas, and yard in a clean and organized manner; fill pick bins as necessary and as directed
  • Perform general physical activities in order to load, unload, sort and move shipments by hand or using material handling equipment
  • Pick/ship goods to customers in an efficiently and accurately manner
  • Ensure proper documentation is supplied with each shipment; this includes packing, sealing, and labeling materials to prepare for shipping
  • Fill out/prepare picking tickets
  • Assist with loading trailers, preparing and shipping LTL orders as necessary
  • Ensure warehouse is appropriately stocked at all times
  • Report any maintenance requirements, accidents, incidents, and near-misses immediately to your supervisor
  • Participate in yearly inventory count
  • Other duties as deemed necessary by Management
About The Ideal Candidate
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Forklift license an asset
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50lb
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a busy environment; as well as ability to work within a team
  • Strong sense of time organization and urgency
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Desire to be a long-term employee and contribute to the company’s overall success
