Position Title : Distribution Center (DC) Associate

Position Summary : The DC Associate plays a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse. This role involves receiving and moving materials within the warehouse, verifying inventory quantities, maintaining inventory levels, ensuring accurate paperwork, and safely operating warehouse equipment. DC Associates work alongside full-time employees and agency personnel, with training and support provided in all areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management : Verify inventory quantities and maintain accurate records. Mark pallets with identifying store information. Pick and stage parts for store replenishment. Use a hand-held radio frequency device (RF Scanner) for inventory tracking.
  • Operational Support : Ensure accurate and complete paperwork. Read and interpret safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals. Perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
  • Team Collaboration : Work alongside full-time employees and agency personnel in various areas with minimal notice. Maintain a high standard of attendance, work ethic, personality, accuracy, and willingness to learn. Commit to working the full scheduled shift.

Physical Requirements
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with arms, talk, and hear.
  • Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or stoop.
  • Occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance.
  • Must regularly lift and / or move up to 25 pounds, and frequently lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment
  • Bending / stooping and reaching into stationary totes to retrieve products.
  • Standing / walking for extended periods.
  • Ascending / descending stair-style ladders.
  • Working in typical warehouse temperatures (warm in summer, cool in winter), with exposure to drafts when dock doors are open.
  • Potential exposure to moving mechanical parts while operating manual pallet jacks or forklift trucks.
  • Noise levels may be high at times.
Dress Code
  • Clean attire is required, including well-fitted, waist-high jeans (not baggy around the hips).
  • Clean shirt / sweatshirt with no logos or vulgar writing / images.
Expectations for Contractors
  • You should strive for excellence in attendance, work ethic, personality, accuracy, and willingness to learn.
  • Quantity and production speed will be emphasized after the initial two weeks of training.
