POSITION DESCRIPTION

This position will be responsible for maintaining the warehouse and getting orders ready for shipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS

  • Pick ordered items from warehouse locations using barcodes, serial numbers, etc., and ensure accuracy.
  • Use ERP system and shipping software to process orders.
  • Operate handling equipment according to safety regulations
  • Manage stock control, including item replenishment and storage
  • Perform general warehouse duties, including cleanup and daily maintenance.

Perform additional duties as required to support the department's effective operation.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of (1) years of industry or related experience preferred.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, and Zebra Technical Printing Software, SAP experience preferred.
  • Willing to undergo and pass a background check and drug screen.
  • Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have a high level of integrity and a strong work ethic.
  • Must be able to ascend/descend a ladder or stairs to retrieve and put away inventory.
  • Ability to read shipping documents, shelf labeling, and other items to complete assigned tasks.
  • Must be able to count and do basic math such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time. The employee may be required to bend, twist, reach, push, pull and operate office machinery and motor vehicles.
  • Must be able to lift to (50) pounds
  • The majority of work will be performed in a non-climate-controlled environment. The employee will be exposed to severe, inclement weather and varying degrees of extreme temperature. The employee may be exposed to various industrial chemicals and cleaning agents, as well as strong odors and loud noises.

WORK SCHEDULE/HOURS

Schedules will vary depending on business needs and may entail working nights, weekends, and holidays. Must be flexible to work outside of departmental operating hours.
