Job summary

Rexel Canada in Red Deer, AB is seeking a Warehouse Associate to load/unload shipments, stack skids, sort freight and verify goods received. You will report to the Branch Manager and ensure accurate inventory entry in the AS400 system.

You will help maintain a clean work environment and act as a Brand Ambassador, upholding Rexel's image while delivering strong customer experiences. A Grade 12 education and 1 year of related experience are required; lifting up to 50 lbs; forklift certification is

Qualifications

• Grade 12 education (or equivalent) is required.
• At least 1 year of related warehouse experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate basic equipment.
• Forklift experience or certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload shipments and prepare skids for shipping.
• Sort freight and verify goods received against documentation.
• Enter incoming inventory into the AS400 system and maintain accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and support Branch Manager.

What You Will Do With Us

As the Warehouse Associate based in Red Deer, AB, you will load and unload shipments. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will prepare and stack skids, sort freight and verify goods received along with other duties as assigned.

• You will receive and verify accuracy of incoming shipments; correctly enter incoming inventory into the AS400 computer system

Who Are You

• You have Grade 12 education (or equivalent)
• You have a minimum of one (1) year of related experience
• You have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• You have Forklift experience or certificate would be an asset
