Job Description

As an EECOL Apprentice – Operations, you will participate in an 18-month trainee program focusing on warehouse tasks such as receiving, picking, packing, shipping, wire cutting, light assembly, and maintaining cleanliness. You will adhere to operational, safety, and company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Complete safety orientation and follow safety policies
  • Shadow experienced associates in verifying inbound shipments and entering orders
  • Learn proper storage and handling of materials
  • Practice filling log sheets for inbound issues
  • Train on manual and RF systems for picking, packing, and shipping
  • Assist in packing, labeling, and loading trucks
  • Learn to use delivery records and verify return policies
  • Pull stock and handle returns
  • Practice wire cutting and spooling
  • Maintain counter stock and assist customer service
  • Progress to operating forklifts and pallet jacks with additional training

Qualifications

Warehouse setting, moderately noisy, well-ventilated and lit. May involve exposure to weather and require protective clothing and heavy equipment operation.

Physical Expectations

  • Lift packages up to 50 lbs
  • Bend, stoop, walk long distances, and use hand tools
