Qualifications

  • Must have previous experience working in a warehouse setting.
  • Experience operating a forklift is considered an asset.
  • General knowledge of inventory control, WHMIS and Dangerous goods.
  • OH&S and First Aid Courses are considered an asset.
  • Experience working in an HVAC environment considered an asset.
  • Willingness to participate in continuous technical and professional training.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s license.
  • Knowledge of computer systems, ideally warehouse management systems.
  • Ability to perform moderate heavy lifting is required.

  • Responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of goods to customers.
  • Ensure detailed completion of paperwork.
  • Maintain safe and efficient work practices.
  • Provide support to customers and sales teams.
  • Assist other staff to achieve branch performance goals.

Kerr Controls Ltd. (Kerr) is a leading distributor of Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration Equipment and Supplies. We have an immediate opening for a dynamic, dedicated and highly motivated Warehouse Associate primarily working from our Dartmouth, NS location. The warehouse associate is responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of goods to Kerr’s customers, detailed completion of paperwork, safe and efficient work practices and particular attention to detail. The warehouse associate will be responsible for providing support to our customers, to the inside and outside sales teams, and to other Kerr staff to help achieve branch performance goals. Travel to our Halifax location may be required.
