Job summary

MacLean Engineering & Marketing Co. is seeking a Warehouse Associate I for our Collingwood, ON facility to handle off-loading, put-away, picking and staging while delivering professional customer service.

You will work in a fast-paced factory environment with safety training, forklift/crane tasks, and inventory accuracy responsibilities, with opportunities for progression and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

  • Minimum High School Diploma or Certificate of Completion.
  • Diploma or Degree in a related discipline is an asset.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others both verbally and written.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize while working in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Flexible to changing priorities and the ability to adjust to deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Unload and move materials within the warehouse and maintain overall appearance.
  • Safely load and unload raw materials and finished goods using forklift/crane.
  • Read and interpret pick lists correctly and pick orders/parts.
  • Pack items according to pick lists and document material movements.
  • Issue required parts to sales orders and verify paperwork.
  • Locate materials as per production orders and ensure accuracy of orders.

Salary Range: $21.00 To $25.00 Hourly
Salary: $21 to $25 CAD
POSITION TITLE: Warehouse Associate
LOCATION: Collingwood, ON
About the Position

The Warehouse Associate I is responsible for off-loading, put-away, picking, and staging of material and parts while providing professional quality customer service to all internal and external customers.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Accountable for movement of all materials within the warehouse and overall appearance.
  • Safe loading and off-loading of raw materials and finished good from delivery vehicles manually by using forklift/crane.
  • Read and interpret pick list properly
  • Pick orders/parts and pack them according to pick list accurately.
  • Issue required purchased and manufactured parts to sales orders for shipping as applicable.
  • Locate and verify materials and supplies listed on production orders.
  • Review and ensure accuracy of all orders
  • Ensure all parts processed by our manufacturing process are properly identified by part number and work order number
  • Ensure documentation accompanies work flow and is handled to completion with correct quantities
  • Ensure production is fully stocked with material and corresponding paperwork
  • Ensure all parts processed are relieves from proper bin location in proper quantity
  • Ensure product is put into the correct stock location
  • Ensure parts are properly secured to skid (strapping, shrink wrap, etc.)
  • Verify all material to ensure that it coincides with proper paperwork.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy (cycle counts)
  • Weekly inspections as assigned
  • Maintain organized work area according to policies, procedures, safety regulations and cleanliness standards (5-S housekeeping)
