Overview

America Fujikura Limited (AFL) is a leading fiber‑optic services provider seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our Canadian Operations in Nanaimo, BC. Under the direction of the Warehouse Operations Manager, you will manage inbound and outbound materials and assets related to field and internal operations while delivering excellent internal customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Pick, pack and ship materials in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Receive, handle, sort, store and record materials; report receipts to Operations Management and Supply Chain.
  • Verify, ensure accuracy and generate reports for inventory control.
  • Monitor material volumes and report abuses and needs to Manager.
  • Operate forklift safely when required.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, organized work environment.
  • Display good manners and attitude toward co‑workers and sub‑contractors.
  • Contribute to company general good by accommodating reasonable requests from other departments.
  • Promote and act in alignment with AFL mission, values and goals.
  • Protect AFL values by keeping information confidential.
  • Enhance AFL reputation by owning requests and exploring opportunities to add value.
  • Adhere to and promote AFL environmental, health & safety policies.
  • Build and maintain positive relations within the team.
  • Perform other related duties as required to meet organizational needs.
  • Participate in quarterly and cyclical inventory counts as scheduled.
Qualifications
  • 1+ year warehouse experience.
