The company

The Swatch Group Ltd. in Biel (Switzerland) is the world's largest manufacturer of finished watches. The Swatch Group is synonymous for durable, emotional consumer products of high quality. With its own worldwide network of distribution organizations, the Group is active in the manufacture of finished watches, movements and components (e.g. ETA). It produces practically all the components necessary to its watch companies.

Responsibilities
  • Receive products from Suppliers, Retail Returns, Sales Associates, and Service
  • Check received materials against documents provided for items and quantity
  • Make changes to documentation as required and notify supervisor of changes
  • Put received stock away in the appropriate stock locations provided
  • Pick product orders according to the daily order pick lists provided, marking the pick qty and total qty picked for each order
  • Meet or exceed expected daily ship volumes as available orders and stock dictate
  • Have order checked for qty picked and signed by another warehouse person before packing
  • Scan bar code items being packed the order for order update to invoice
  • Process shipment of order for delivery by using the freight manifest program while checking the ship address to packing list
  • Keep warehouse work areas clean and tidy
  • Assist other warehouse staff in meeting the brands order fulfillment as needed
  • Perform annual physical inventory and regular cycle counts as requested
  • Assist brands in sales support material storage and shipping as needed
  • Timely respond or relay to appropriate department any customer concerns
  • Complete daily productivity reports
  • Submit all previous day unfilled picking documents to supervisor
  • Maintain and request shipping supplies
  • Report any injuries or safety concerns immediately
Requirements
  • HS diploma or equivalent required, college a plus
  • Previous warehouse and shipping/receiving experience
  • Previous AS 400 experience a plus
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to problem solve and make quick decisions
  • Good communication skills
  • RF gun knowledge with ability to scan inbound and outbound material
  • Able to lift minimum 20 pounds.
  • Team player and ability to manage work processes
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Able to produce results under pressure and meet deadlines
