Job summary

Wolseley Canada is seeking a motivated Warehouse Associate to support our logistics team in Balzac Industrial Park. You will load and unload products, pick, pack and ship customer orders, and ensure accurate receiving and put-away of stock while maintaining safety standards.

This role requires previous warehouse experience, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Forklift certification is preferred or the ability to obtain it; basic computer skills including Microsoft Office are

Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse experience required.
  • General basic computer skills including Microsoft Office is required.
  • Must be dependable and reliable and willing to take initiative.
  • Able to regularly lift up to fifty (50lbs) pounds.
  • Forklift certified or ability to be certified.
  • WHMIS and TDG certification would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of plumbing/HVAC products is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload product in a timely manner to meet delivery deadlines and customer commitments.
  • Receive incoming shipments and checking for accuracy.
  • Put away product to correct areas in the warehouse in a timely manner.
  • Pick, pack and ship customer orders, including preparing documentation for shipment.
  • Load items and orders into truck while adhering to a sometimes tight delivery schedule.
  • Strap and/or secure material so that there is no damage or breakage to the material during transport.
  • Ensure good housekeeping and safety procedures are maintained in the warehouse.
