Sherwood Park Animal Hospital is seeking an Animal Health Technician to join our veterinary team in Beaconsfield, QC. You will assist veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and surgeries, perform lab work and radiographs, and support anesthesia and patient care.

• Perform technical tasks such as blood collection, cytology, urinalysis, and other lab work
• Take and process radiographs, including dental x-rays
• Provide anesthetic induction, monitoring, and recovery support
• Administer medications and prescribed treatments
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient medical records
• Educate and support clients on pet care, nutrition, medication, and post-operative instructions
• Ensure that treatment areas, equipment, and workstations are clean, organized, and well-maintained
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and professional work environment
• Follow clinic protocols for safety, hygiene, and patient care
