Job summary

Precision AI seeks a VP of Operations to lead the operating system enabling scale, balancing strategic decisions with hands-on ownership of key projects. You will manage 2 direct reports in Business and People Operations and partner with the CEO and leadership to align priorities and remove bottlenecks.

You will help shape organizational design, hiring strategy, and compensation philosophy, while building scalable rhythms and processes for a larger growth phase from Calgary headquarters.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive leadership across Operations, Business Operations, or related functions.
• Track record building operational systems, planning processes, and organizational structure in high-growth environments.
• Proven success leading complex cross-functional initiatives and improving execution across organizations.
• Experience partnering directly with CEOs and executive teams on company strategy and execution.
• Strong business judgment with the ability to simplify complex decisions and create clarity from ambiguity.

Role Overview

The VP of Operations will lead the operating system that enables Precision AI to scale. The role will be about deciding what to refine versus what to rebuild as the staff and operations evolve. You will begin with 2 direct reports in Business and People Operations, needing to balance managerial responsibilities with being hands-on in the ownership of key projects.As a key executive, you will improve execution, establish scalable operating rhythms, and ensure the company is prepared for its next stage of growth.

The VP will work closely with the CEO, Head of People, and other members of the leadership team to ensure priorities remain aligned across the organization. This person should be equally comfortable reviewing organizational structure, discussing fundraising strategy with investors, and being hands-on in removing operational bottlenecks that slow execution.

As Precision AI prepares for its next phase of growth and a future Series B financing, this role will play a critical part in evolving the operational foundation required to support a significantly larger organization.

This role is based in Calgary and will work from Precision AI’s headquarters 4+ days a week.
