About the Opportunity
Finance & Accounting
  • Lead and manage all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closings, including preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
  • Drive budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and rolling forecasts to support strategic planning.
  • Maintain and improve the company’s cash management, including monitoring working capital, optimizing AR/AP cycles, and managing banking relationships.
  • Oversee the preparation of tax filings and compliance, coordinating with external tax advisors for corporate, sales/use tax, and other required filings.
  • Manage annual audit or financial review process, including coordination with auditors and preparation of required schedules.
Operations
  • Review and analyze production and inventory data, identifying opportunities for cost savings, waste reduction, and throughput improvement.
  • Provide oversight of inventory control processes, including cycle counting, inventory valuation, and reconciliation across multiple locations (if applicable).
  • Oversee company insurance programs, including general liability, workers’ compensation, and property coverage, in coordination with brokers.
IT
  • Oversee the company’s IT systems and infrastructure in collaboration with external vendors or internal IT staff.
  • Ensure secure, efficient, and up-to-date systems that support operational and financial reporting.
  • Lead software/tool selection and implementation projects as needed (e.g., ERP upgrades).
HR
  • Provide oversight of HR functions including payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, and compliance.
  • Collaborate on recruiting, onboarding, and performance management initiatives.
  • Help build and maintain a positive and productive workplace culture.

About You
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in finance/accounting, preferably within manufacturing.
Salary Range

$170,000 - $200,000 / year
