An educational nonprofit organization in Metro Vancouver is seeking new volunteer advisors to provide strategic guidance and enhance community relations. Candidates with expertise in educational management, fundraising, finance systems, or digital strategy are encouraged to apply. LDS - Learn. Develop. Succeed. is a growing, innovative, research-based, educational nonprofit serving children, youth and adults with diagnosed or suspected learning differences such as dyslexia and dyscalculia and other brain-based differences like ADHD and ASD.
LDS offers individualized, evidence-based, and technology-embracing programs that target student-specific learning needs. Our growing programs and services operate throughout BC online, from our Learning Centers in East Vancouver and North Vancouver, at in‑school locations, and in our mobile classroom.
We provide affordable programs to ensure that all children have an opportunity to realize their full potential. We support learners with early intervention and at all stages of the development cycle, leading to profound, positive changes in student learning and life outcomes. We are scaling up our organization and services to effect system change with material and wide-ranging societal benefits.

LDS has an engaged group of volunteer advisors and committee members who offer their time and expertise to our team and families. They help provide strategic guidance and oversight to ensure the organization’s goals and objectives are met efficiently and effectively. Volunteer committee members and advisors contribute to strategic discussions, help shape program development, and provide valuable community or industry insights. Their expertise and insights are vital in fostering a sustainable and thriving environment that aligns with the organization’s mission and community needs.
