Job summary

Lifemark Health Group is seeking a Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our Surrey clinic on a full-time basis. The role collaborates with referral sources to provide job search support for WorkSafe BC clients, helping injured workers develop employment plans and re-enter the workforce.

Responsibilities include reviewing profiles, assessing barriers, delivering workshops, creating resumes, researching labor markets, and marketing clients to employers while maintaining confidentiality and

Qualifications

• University degree preferred (psychology, education, kinesiology, health sciences, rehabilitation etc.)
• Minimum 2 years experience within the provision of vocational rehabilitation (employment planning/career counselling and/or job search skills/job placement)
• CVRP or other related professional designation and/or eligibility to obtain designation would be an asset.
• Candidates should have a strong understanding of the local labour market
• Willingness to travel to Lifemark clinic as clients require

Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist Location: Hybrid/Remote Status: Full Time Lifemark Health Group is seeking a Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team at our Surrey clinic on a Full-Time basis. The Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist will work in collaboration with the referral source to provide job search support services to WorkSafe BC clients. In this role, you will make a difference in the lives of our clients through assisting individuals who may have been injured on the job in developing employment plans. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to conduct job search training and provide job search counselling for our clients who are seeking to re-enter the workforce.
