Job summary

Lifemark Health Group in Kelowna is seeking a Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our hybrid, full-time team. You will support WorkSafe BC clients by developing employment plans, facilitating job search training, and counselling clients returning to work.

Responsibilities include reviewing vocational profiles, assessing barriers, conducting labor market research, and preparing resumes. Travel to Lifemark clinics may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• University degree preferred (psychology, education, kinesiology, health sciences, rehabilitation etc.)
• Minimum 2 years experience within the provision of vocational rehabilitation (employment planning/career counselling and/or job search skills/job placement)
• CVRP or other related professional designation and/or eligibility to obtain designation would be an asset.
• Candidates should have a strong understanding of the local labour market
• Willingness to travel to Lifemark clinic as clients require

• Collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals and responsibilities
• Prepare clear, concise, and accurate reports
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients

Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist

Status: Full Time

Lifemark Health Group is seeking a Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team at our Kelowna clinic on a Full-Time basis. The Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist will work in collaboration with the referral source to provide job search support services to WorkSafe BC clients. In this role, you will make a difference in the lives of our clients through assisting individuals who may have been injured on the job in developing employment plans. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to conduct job search training and provide job search counselling for our clients who are seeking to re-enter the workforce.
