Safran Helicopter Engines in Mirabel, Canada, is seeking a VIE Financial Analyst to support daily accounting, budget monitoring, and internal controls within a global leader in helicopter propulsion.

Reporting to the CFO, you will assist with AP/AR management, balance sheet analyses, month-end close, and continuous improvement projects, while developing transfer pricing studies and automation of analytical reports.

Competenze

• 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Good understanding of the complete accounting cycle and internal control.
• Knowledge of SAP (an asset).
• Bilingualism in French/English orally and in writing.
• Good communication (written and verbal).
• Mastery of the Microsoft Office suite.
• Rigorous and detail-oriented.
• Good written and verbal communication.

Mansioni

• Assist the finance team in general accounting processes, period-end, management control, and internal control.
• Actively participate in the Internal Control campaign and perform tests.
• Monitor the deployment of Internal Control action plans.
• Assist the Finance team in budget preparation and monitoring.
• Assist the Finance team in managing accounts payable and receivable (AP & AR).
• Reconcile and analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Participate in inventory and CAPEX counts.
• Participate in the accounting period-end process.
• Perform month-end controls to ensure the reliability of financial information and good management.
• Contribute to various continuous improvement projects and initiatives.
• Perform all other related tasks.
• Clean up customer and vendor accounts, and potentially CAPEX.
• Develop a Transfer Pricing study dossier template and conduct the analysis for the years 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026.
• Work on the automation of analytical reports to accelerate Finance processes.

About your future mission

Join Safran Helicopter Engines in Mirabel, Canada, as a VIE Financial Analyst and contribute to the financial performance of a global leader in helicopter propulsion.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the V.I.E. Financial Analyst supports daily accounting. They support both the financial analyst and the cost analyst in their various tasks.

The proposed missions are as follows:

• Assist the finance team in general accounting processes, accounting period-end, management control, and internal control.
• Actively participate in the Internal Control campaign and perform tests.
