Qualifications

Your role

Radio-Canada Estrie is looking for a videojournalist based in Victoriaville . You will report to Charles Beaudoin Senior Manager of Journalism and Programming.


We are seeking a qualified individual who can develop daily story ideas research and produce reports that resonate with the Victoriaville regions audience for the Info app and all other Radio-Canada platforms. The successful candidate must be versatile and able to tell stories both in writing and in vertical video format. You must be comfortable gathering your own content (video photos interviews etc.) using a mobile phone.


You are creative resourceful rigorous and highly autonomous. You have a strong ability to make complex information accessible. You must be comfortable working under pressure conducting your own research and fieldwork shaping stories and presenting your material confidently across multiple platforms.


The work schedule is variable and you must be able to travel across your coverage area using a Radio-Canada vehicle .


You will contribute original ideas and creative solutions to our news programming and demonstrate solid skills in preparing reports for our news bulletins. You may also be called upon to work for other platforms and must be available for a flexible schedule often working independently.
