Job summary

Stubbe's Precast is seeking a Video Editor and Motion Graphics Designer for an on-site role in Ontario. You will support the Senior Video Producer and marketing team by editing educational YouTube videos, social reels, safety content, and product animations.

A strong candidate will edit in Premiere Pro and After Effects, create 2D/3D motion graphics, and assist with on-site filming. A passion for learning and collaboration is valued.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of video editing experience in personal or professional settings.
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Good working knowledge of 2D/3D motion graphics design.
• Experience with on-site filming is a plus.

Video Editor and Motion Graphics Designer

On-site position

OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Video Editor and Motion Graphics Designer will support the Senior Video Producer and the broader marketing team in creating high-quality media content that promotes Stubbe’s divisions. This content will include educational YouTube videos, social media reels, internal safety videos and product explanation animations.

The primary responsibility of this role will be video editing, with occasional on-site filming support as required. The successful candidate will also expand the team’s creative capabilities by producing motion graphics and animations in both 2D and 3D formats.

While education and technical experience are valued, attitude, personal interest, a willingness to develop new skills and a positive contribution to the team are equally important. The ideal candidate is passionate about their work, eager to grow and willing to support colleagues wherever needed.

THE DAY TO DAY

• Meeting with sales team members for project details
• Editing videos of construction industry
• 2D and 3D animation editing for educational content
• Filming of on-site operations and in-office content
• Social media reels/shorts specific edits
• Working alongside the video team in developing editing styles and themes for video series

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• At least 2 years experience editing videos in either a personal or professional environment
• Adobe Creative Cloud Experience – specifically Premiere Pro and After Effects (Davinci Resolve and Final Cut Pro an asset)
• Proficient 3D motion animation design experience using any of the following software programs: Blender, Cinema 4D, Autodesk Maya / 3ds Max, Houdini, Unreal Engine
• Experience working in the construction industry an asset
• Personal drive to learn and develop professional skills
