Job summary

Sam&Sain Co. is seeking a video editor with a strong sense of story, pacing and finish to shape footage into compelling films. The role focuses on editing only, delivering brand films, interviews, product and hospitality content with clear storytelling and polished sound.

You’ll review briefs, structure pieces, and tailor edits for various channels—from short vertical clips to longer landscape videos—collaborating with the team and clients to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• A portfolio or showreel of editing with clear individual contributions.
• Confidence with professional editing software, colour correction and audio clean-up.
• Good judgement on structure and pacing, clear communication and reliable follow-through.
• Understanding of both vertical social content and longer landscape films.

Shape footage into films that give a business its own voice. We’re looking for a video editor with a strong sense of story, pacing and finish.

The Role

Sam&Sain Co. works with owner-led businesses on consulting and marketing. You’ll turn footage into finished video that feels true to the business, with clear storytelling, careful pacing, clean colour and polished sound.

The work includes brand films, interviews, product and hospitality content, and short videos for social channels. The role is editing only.

What You’ll Do

• Review the brief and footage, then shape a clear structure for each piece.
• Edit for story and pacing, with care for colour, sound and the platform where the video will appear.
• Cut versions for each channel, from short vertical videos to longer landscape films.
• Work with our team and clients, take feedback and deliver organised project files on schedule.

What We’re Looking For
