Proppel Inc. is a US-based DTC brand seeking a senior video editor to turn briefs and footage into high-performing ads and social content. You’ll own editing from concept to final cut in a fast-paced remote setup.

You’ll craft hooks, variations, captions, and formats for Meta, YouTube, and TikTok, delivering vertical, square, and horizontal assets with polished sound and color. A strong portfolio and AI-assisted workflows are essential.

Job description

What we're looking for

A US-based DTC brand is on a mission to make the front of every home more fun, stylish, and personal, starting with the humble mailbox. You'll be the editor who turns their footage into high-performing ads and social content.

What You'll Be Doing

• Turn briefs and supplied footage into 15 to 30-second paid ads, UGC, product videos, and organic social content, at a pace of 20 to 30 videos a week.
• Transform long-form videos into short-form, creating multiple distinct assets from the same source footage.
• Build hooks, cutdowns, and variations (different pacing, messaging, lengths, and calls to action) that support real creative testing on Meta, YouTube, and soon TikTok.
• Deliver vertical, square, and horizontal versions, adapting framing, captions, and safe areas for each placement.
• Finish every edit with accurate captions, clean audio, sound design, color correction, basic motion graphics, and end cards.
• Share ideas on concepts, hooks, and trends, and use performance insights to sharpen each new round of edits.

Requirements

• 3+ years of senior editing experience and a strong consumer-brand portfolio of paid ads, UGC, and social content that you personally edited.
• A DTC background (any industry) with a clear grasp of hooks, pacing, product storytelling, and calls to action.
• Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro or similar tools, plus skills in motion graphics, audio finishing, and color correction.
• Hands-on AI experience for footage search, transcription, captions, audio cleanup, or creative variations, using tools like Claude.
• Comfort with metrics and analytics, and the ability to turn results into better creative.
• Speed, sound judgment, and organized files, with the independence to thrive in a remote workflow.

Nice to Have

• Experience with creative analytics tools such as Atria or Motion.
• Experience editing for Amazon listings and ads.
• Familiarity with TikTok trends and native formats.
