Located at #207-7928 128 St, Surrey, BC V3W 4E8, The Times of Canada is seeking to fill one permanent full-time position for a Video and Camera Operator to join our team.

The candidate will perform the following duties:

  • Setting up and taking down cameras, microphones, lighting, and other equipment.
  • Filming video on set and location. Events such as news, live events, videos, and broadcasting.
  • Adjust focus, exposure, and lighting.
  • Edit footage after recording.
  • Test, maintain, and store equipment.

Wages: $ 38.25 /hr for 40 hrs a week
Where: Surrey, BC, and surrounding areas.,

Job Requirements:

  • Completion of high school
  • A college program in audio-visual technology, or a related field, OR extensive experience as a Video and Camera Operator is required.
  • Knowledge of social media is an asset.
  • Ability to communicate in English
