Job summary

DELAN - IT Talent Solutions is seeking a Vice-President IT (Software Development) to lead modernization toward a cloud-based web architecture with AI at the core. You will define the technology roadmap, oversee a rewrite, and guide security and DevOps practices while sitting on the executive committee and managing a budget.

The role requires 15+ years in IT with 5+ years in leadership, strong React/TypeScript expertise, AI in software development, and bilingual French/English communication.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of professional IT experience including leadership roles.
• Experience leading a large-scale software transformation.
• Mastery of React and TypeScript with ability to dive into code.
• Expertise in generative AI applied to software development.
• Experience in application security or strict cybersecurity context.
• Knowledge of cloud architecture and DevOps practices.
• Business vision and strategic thinking.
• People-oriented, ego-free leadership in SMEs is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Bilingual (French and English) required.

Responsibilities

• Define the technology roadmap and the platform architecture
• Lead the rewrite of the software toward a modern web architecture
• Integrate AI into the product and development (agents, large language models)
• Implement CI/CD practices (continuous integration and deployment)
• Ensure application security in preparation for an ISO 27001 certification
• Sit on the executive committee and manage the IT budget
• Manage a team of approximately 8 people in development and IT infrastructure
• Work in an environment based on React, TypeScript, Kotlin, Java and the cloud
