Job type – Permanent, full time

Location – Remote (within USA)

Working hours – Standard business hours

Salary - up to USD $150,000 (not inclusive of bonus or commission)

What’s The Job

The Vice President, Sales leads and manages the Sales (USA) department while focusing on optimizing team performance and driving annual business plans and budgets.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead and manage TFund Sales department (USA) through coaching and mentoring
  • Develop and drive annual business plans and operating budgets
  • Manage the effective distribution of resources and FTE to approved budgets
  • Maintain all policies, directives and guidelines supporting Sales
  • Ensure that proper and prudent systems and processes are in place to manage
  • Enhance operational efficiency and controls within the area to drive improvement in speed, quality, and compliance
  • Provide direction and oversight to the Sales team, including goal setting and performance assessment and feedback
  • Set clear expectations and goals to hold people appropriately accountable for results
  • Ensure that resources are aligned with the organization's priorities and business needs
  • Achieve departmental goals consistent with corporate strategy
  • Monitor performance, results and key measures and adjust to improve outcomes
  • Ensure strengthening of the Sales team and position for succession through ongoing development, feedback and growth
  • Respond to and resolve escalated issues
  • Assist in the review and development of various governance documents, including but not limited to Sales policies, guidelines and procedures
  • Provide reporting weekly, monthly and quarterly as required
  • Continually seek awareness of industry trends outside TFG and potential impact of same
  • Contribute to management meetings, communicate with, and prepare reports for management
What You Bring
  • 5+ Previous sales leadership experience
  • 10+ years of previous vendor finance construction sales experience
  • Results driven and action oriented
  • A strong sense of integrity, professionalism and a results-oriented attitude to continually improve processes and systems, enhance efficiency, and contribute to overall organizational success
  • Works well under pressure to meet ongoing and overlapping deadlines within short time constraints
  • Effective leadership, coaching and mentoring capabilities in a high performing team environment
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team towards performance objectives
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced ability to manage and prioritize a complex workload while adhering to performance goals
  • High self-management capabilities
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of financial statements and risk ratings
  • Post-secondary diploma or bachelor’s degree is an asset
