Overview

Mastercard Identity, within the Security Solutions organization, leads the development of identity products and services that enable global commerce, power financial inclusion, prevent crime, and deliver seamless digital experiences. The VP of Identity Account Protection partners closely with stakeholders to define requirements and shape a roadmap that expands and enhances this capability, unlocking critical use cases across the ecosystem.

  • The candidate will define and deliver industry-leading identity account protection capabilities for both card and non-card solutions.
  • The candidate will lead the product development, launch, and strategy to create new identity account protection offerings and synergistic solutions across the Mastercard ecosystem.
  • The candidate will ensure the product meets the evolving needs of consumers, businesses, and agents in an increasingly more digital world.

Role
  • Lead product development for new identity solution offerings.
  • Evolve product strategy; define vision and roadmap to align with customer needs.
  • Develop a prioritized view of customer needs and market opportunities by segment and use cases; evolve roadmap accordingly.
  • Manage the development of business requirements and communication to the platform and engineering teams.
  • Define and monitor success metrics and KPIs to ensure the effectiveness of product offerings; enhance offerings based on performance and the voice of the customer.
  • Responsible for P&L and defining plans in collaboration with global commercialization teams to meet established revenue goals.
  • Drive ongoing evaluation of potential partners; develop and maintain intelligence on key players in the value chain from both a global and regional perspective.
  • Acts as an expert, advocate, and champion for designated products to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead development of product pricing strategies.
  • Advise, influence, and support communication and marketing efforts, and oversee the development of training and other product support materials
  • Lead broad go-to-market initiatives, including the establishment of go-to-market approaches and key performance indicators for products, setting objectives in partnership with Mastercard regions, and driving commercial plans to ensure success
  • Lead transformation initiatives, including product and customer-facing activities across all Mastercard regions.
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize business cases for transformation initiatives, and build business models to improve Mastercard\'s footprint and competitiveness
All About You
  • Experience and expertise in the Identity industry, targeting how identity supports overall account protection.
  • Experience in translating and applying customer feedback to lead new solution offerings and current product adjustment strategies.
  • Experience setting direction for go-to-market plans and leveraging market insights to differentiate from competitors
  • Experience with business transformation initiatives and customer management
  • Experience initiating and managing investigations of product/business risks and concerns
  • Have created and delivered presentations to internal or external stakeholders
  • Experience working and building impactful relationships with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Proven people leadership experience
  • Bachelor\'s or related experience. Advanced degree preferred.
