eStruxture Data Centers is seeking a Vice-President, Procurement to lead a centralized procurement function across its Canada operations, including Calgary. The role focuses on governance, sourcing strategy, and lifecycle management of contracts and materials for construction and engineering teams.

You will champion TCO, risk management, and vendor performance while partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Procurement governance & standardization: design and enforce governance framework with policies and controls.
• Systems, data & contract management: improve contract management and use spend data analytics.
• Quality assurance & compliance: ensure equipment/materials meet specs and regulatory requirements.
• Forecasting: develop construction forecasts for timing and costs.
• Commercial management & sourcing strategy: own pricing, terms and TCO optimization.
• Supply chain risk management: monitor trends, price volatility, and supplier capacity.
• Vendor performance: oversee maintenance contracts and KPI-driven vendor management.
• Work with engineering and construction teams to support procurement needs.

About the role

The Vice-President, Procurement will be responsible for the establishment of a centralized procurement function. The process will include the full procurement lifecycle including requirements gathering, vendor sourcing and selection, negotiation and contracting, deliverables and vendor evaluation. The ultimate goal is tocreate governance and efficiency around spend and the timely delivery of materials and equipment needed for the construction and engineering teams.

What You’ll Own

Strategic Governance & Process Optimization

• Procurement Governance & Standardization: Design, implement, and enforce a robust procurement governance framework, establishing standardized policies, approval matrices, and process controls to scale efficiently with organizational growth.
• Systems, Data & Contract Management: Evaluate the current contract management process and implement improvements as required. Ensure accurate records of all contracts and leverage spend data analytics to inform future sourcing decisions.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure all procured equipment and materials strictly adhere to technical engineering specifications, safety standards, and local regulatory requirements.
• Forecasting: Work with the various teams to develop accurate construction forecasts (including both timing and costs).
  

Commercial Management & Sourcing Strategy

• Commercial Management & TCO Optimization: Own end-to-end pricing, terms, and delivery timelines. Move beyond initial purchase price by utilizing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models—factoring in energy efficiency, maintenance, and lifecycle costs—to rigorously evaluate quotes and negotiate contracts.
• Supply Chain Risk Management & Resilience: Continuously monitor market trends, pricing volatility, and supplier capacity. Develop robust risk mitigation strategies, including comprehensive supplier financial vetting, dual-sourcing, and contingency planning to prevent supply chain bottlenecks.
• Operational Maintenance & Vendor Performance: Oversee the lifecycle of all operational maintenance and service contracts. Drive the standardization of facility services across the portfolio, proactively manage contract renewals, and establish KPIs to rigorously evaluate ongoing vendor performance.

What you bring

Experience

• 10+ years of progressive experience in procurement, negotiation and vendor relationship management.
• Significant experience with infrastructure construction, ideally data centre specifically.
  

Education/Certification/Designation

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field considered.

Skills & Technical Knowledge

• Demonstrated expertise in large-scale construction projects.
• Deep understanding of supply chain trends, risk management, and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to think independently and solve problems
• Collaborative team player; clear and proactive communicator
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Advanced written and verbal skills used to translate complex field data into high-level briefings for executive stakeholders
• Strong planning, organizational, time management skills and superior attention to detail.
• Proven expertise in negotiating with vendors
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  

Working Conditions

The role has standard working conditions in an office environment with a regular workweek schedule from Monday to Friday. Due to the nature of the role, the incumbent must be able to meet tight deadlines, handle pressure and manage stress.
