Job description

For over 30 years, Greentec has been a leader in IT asset disposition and e‑waste recycling, committed to environmental sustainability and secure data destruction.

The Role

The VP of Operations oversees our multi‑site warehouse operations, ensuring that every piece of IT asset disposition (ITAD) and e‑waste recycling is handled with precision, security, and environmental integrity. You will be responsible for the high‑velocity, high‑security throughput while ensuring that our environmental and data‑security promises to our clients are unbreakable.

Your goal is to scale our operational footprint while maintaining a culture of safety, efficiency, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Multi‑Site Leadership: Provide strategic oversight for all regional processing facilities, ensuring consistent SOPs and safety standards.
  • Operational Excellence: Apply Six Sigma and Lean principles to eliminate waste, reduce cycle times from dock‑to‑stock, and maximize the recovery value of every asset.
  • P&L Ownership: Manage the operational budget, identifying cost‑saving opportunities and capital expenditure (CapEx) requirements for new technology.
  • Compliance & Security: Ensure 100% adherence to industry certifications and maintain a "perpetual audit" state with zero major non‑conformances.
  • Strategic Growth: Strategic planning and execution designed for scale.
  • Team Development: Lead and mentor site managers to foster a high‑performance, culturally diverse workforce.
  • Supply Chain & Logistics: Streamline inbound logistics and outbound downstream vendor management to maximize recovery value and minimize carbon footprint.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience: 10+ years in senior operations roles, ideally within TAD, electronics recycling, or high‑volume reverse logistics.
  • Leadership: Proven track record of managing multi‑site warehousing facilities with a headcount of 100+.
  • Education: Degree in engineering, supply chain management, business operations, or similar.
  • Certifications: Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt is highly preferred.
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of inventory and material flow, and automated production processes.
The Ideal Candidate

You possess a "lead from the front" mentality, feeling as comfortable on the warehouse floor as you are in executive strategy sessions. You are a persuasive communicator who can motivate teams under pressure to meet tight deadlines while maintaining an uncompromising focus on quality and safety.

The annual budgeted pay range for this position is $150,000 - $200,000 CAD. The pay offered for this role will be determined by the candidate's qualifications, education, and experience. Greentec is committed to investing in your future; we offer training, competitive compensation, annual profit sharing, and group benefit package.

As a condition of employment and in order to comply with industry related data security standards, this position is subject to the successful completion of a Criminal Background Check.

Greentec is an equal opportunity employer so please inform us if you need accommodation if you are selected to participate in our recruitment process.

Note: Greentec does not presently use Artificial Intelligence (AI) in our recruitment and selection processes. The above posting is for an existing vacancy.
