Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Vice President Commercial to lead the Commercial function within the Nuclear Canada Business Unit during a period of growth and transformation. The role focuses on shaping commercial strategy, governance, and risk management across domestic and international markets.

You will oversee commercial governance, bid approvals, contract approvals, and major risk reviews while developing future leaders through mentoring and succession planning.

Job Description Overview

Join AtkinsRéalis as Vice President Commercial and lead a critical function within our Nuclear Canada Business Unit during a period of significant growth and transformation. This executive leadership role offers the opportunity to shape commercial strategy, strengthen governance, support major nuclear programs, and develop high-performing teams that drive sustainable business success across domestic and international markets.

Your Role

Provide executive leadership to the Commercial function, ensuring the organization has the capability, structure, succession plans, and performance culture required to support growth.

Lead commercial, contractual, proposal, and risk management strategies across a portfolio of complex nuclear projects throughout their full lifecycle.

Develop and implement forward-looking commercial strategies, including contracting models, procurement approaches, risk allocation, and commercial controls.

Advise executive leadership on commercial risk, liabilities, margin protection, governance, and strategic decision-making.

Represent AtkinsRéalis in complex negotiations and engagements with clients, partners, suppliers, regulators, and other senior stakeholders.

Oversee commercial governance frameworks, including bid approvals, contract approvals, risk reviews, and major commitment assurance processes.

Develop future commercial leaders through recruitment, mentoring, succession planning, and performance management.
