Work Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada Hours: 37.5 Line of Business: TD Securities Pay Details: $150,000 - $160,000 CAD This role is eligible for a discretionary variable compensation award that considers business and individual performance. Job Overview

TD Securities is seeking a highly motivated and strategic leader to join Global Transaction Banking as a VicePresident, Client Solutions. This role is ideal for an experienced transaction banking professional who combines strong commercial acumen with a passion for innovation, client engagement, talent development, and enterprise-wide transformation. The successful candidate will lead a high-performing team while partnering closely with Corporate and Financial Institutions Origination and Client Management teams to support business growth, deepen client relationships, and drive strategic initiatives across the GTB platform. The Vice President, Client Solutions will serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, leading complex cross-functional initiatives that enhance client experience, improve operational effectiveness, support regulatory requirements, and contribute to revenue growth. This individual will thrive in a dynamic environment, demonstrating strong leadership, influence, and problem-solving capabilities while navigating competing priorities and evolving business needs. As a people leader, the Vice President will be responsible for attracting, developing, coaching, and retaining talent while fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performance culture. The successful candidate will create opportunities for team members to build their technical, analytical, and leadership capabilities while ensuring delivery against key business objectives. This position is based in Toronto and may require periodic travel to support clients, strategic initiatives, and business activities across global regions.

Key Accountabilities
Strategic Advisory & Business Leadership

Support the execution of TD Securities' client origination strategy across Corporate Banking and Financial Institutions. Actasa strategic advisor to Origination and Client Management teams on business priorities, client opportunities, and revenue-enhancing initiatives. Provide leadership on strategic business initiatives that support growth, operational effectiveness, and client experience. Develop recommendations and business cases based on data-driven analysis and market insights.

Team Leadership&Talent Development

Lead, coach, and develop a team of four, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and inclusion. Provide performance management, mentorship, career development guidance, and ongoing coaching to support colleague growth and engagement. Establish team priorities, allocate resources effectively, and ensure successful execution of business objectives. Promote continuous learning and skill development across transaction banking, treasury management, client management, analytics, and strategic execution disciplines. Support succession planning and talent development initiatives while building a strong leadership pipeline within the team. Encourage a data-driven culture and help develop analytical capabilities across the Client Solutions team.

Client&Relationship Management

Foster strong relationships with internal partners, external vendors, and key stakeholders to deliver exceptional outcomes. Support client origination efforts, including annual relationship reviews, client presentations, proposals, and RFP responses. Lead and support client escalation management with a focus on timely resolution and client satisfaction. Represent GTB in client-facing engagements, industry events, and strategic discussions.

Transformation&Innovation

Drive process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, scalability, and profitability. Champion strategic change initiatives, including product enhancements, regulatory programs, and business transformation efforts. Partner across GTB, Technology, Operations, Compliance, Risk, and Finance to successfully deliver enterprise-wide initiatives. Stay informed of industry trends, emerging technologies, and FinTech innovations to identify opportunities that create value for clients and the business.

Governance, Risk&Control

Support governance frameworks and regulatory requirements across the business. Collaborate with Audit, Risk Management, Compliance, Finance, and regulatory stakeholders to ensure business activities are conducted in accordance with established policies and controls. Contribute to the successful implementation of regulatory and risk-related initiatives impacting clients and employees.

Thought Leadership&Talent Development

Act as a subject matter expert on treasury, banking, regulatory, and finance-related topics. Promote TD and GTB as industry thought leaders through client interactions, conferences, and industry forums. Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering a culture of learning, collaboration, and professional growth. Support training initiatives and knowledge-sharing activities across the organization.

Job Requirements

Education & Experience Undergraduate degree required; MBA or advanced business designation considered an asset. 10+ years of relevant experience within financial services, with a focus on Global Transaction Banking, Treasury Management, Corporate Banking, Cash Management, or related fields. Demonstrated success leading complex initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders in large, matrixed organizations. Experience supporting sophisticated corporate and financial institution clients across treasury and transaction banking solutions.

Knowledge & Skills

Deep understanding of transaction banking products and services, including cash management, payments, liquidity, receivables, and treasury solutions. Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to evaluate opportunities and recommend strategic solutions. Excellent leadership, influencing, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organization. Proven ability to lead through ambiguity and drive results in a fast‑paced, evolving environment. Strong analytical, organizational, and project management capabilities. Interest in emerging technologies and FinTech innovations that are shaping the future of transaction banking.

Technical Skills

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including executive-level reporting, business analysis, and presentation development. Strong SQL skills with experience working with large and complex datasets. Experience developing dashboards, visualizations, and management reporting using Power BI or similar business intelligence tools. Familiarity with Databricks, enterprise data warehouses, and modern analytics platforms. Experience with Python or other scripting languages is considered an asset. Experience using Jira, Confluence, GitHub, or similar workflow, collaboration, and documentation tools. Ability to leverage data and analytics to drive business insights, support strategic decision-making, and identify opportunities for process optimization and revenue growth.
