A leading VFX studio in Vancouver is seeking a VFX Coordinator to facilitate interdepartmental communication and oversee project workflows. The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of coordinating experience in the film or TV industry, coupled with excellent communication skills. Responsibilities include tracking shot statuses and ensuring productivity among artists. This role offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits from day one.
Position: VFX Coordinator - Mid
Hiring Range: $66,300 to $71,500/year for a 40 hour work week
Project Contract: December 2025

The mid-level Coordinator position is a critical role in the workflow process for show delivery. They will promote interdepartmental communication to move information from one department to expedite completion. They will be prepared to flag concerns or issues to the Project Manager and/or Department Supervisor which may delay workflow or shot delivery. They will be on the pulse of all shots within their department and be able to communicate status reports to the Project Manager when required.
Mid-level Coordinators will begin to understand impact issues within the pipeline and can anticipate workflow problems which may slow delivery.
