Guardian Veterinary Centre is looking for a compassionate and motivated part-time Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) to join our emergency team of skilled veterinary professionals on a part-time basis. While we're part of a larger network, we pride ourselves on maintaining a supportive, community-focused culture where mentorship, collaboration, and ongoing professional development are priorities. New graduates and RVTs who are new to emergency medicine are encouraged to apply. You don't need previous emergency experience to be successful at Guardian - we're looking for someone with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a passion for patient care. Emergency medicine can seem intimidating, but our experienced team loves to teach, mentor, and help the right candidate build confidence and develop new skills in a supportive environment.
This position primarily supports our outpatient team and is ideal for an RVT who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. The schedule includes evening and weekend shifts, in order to support our busiest emergency service hours. Cross-training in other areas of the hospital is encouraged, giving every RVT the opportunity to work within their full scope of practice, expand their clinical skills, and gain a well-rounded understanding of our hospital. If you're looking to join a collaborative team that values mentorship, professional growth, and exceptional patient care, we'd love to hear from you!
