Royal Loop Vet Clinic is growing and looking for a Full Time Veterinary Office Assistant (VOA) to join our incredible team located adjacent to Mount Royal / South Calgary, Alberta.

This exciting role handles reception and administrative duties, manages appointment flow, and maintains high standards of clinic cleanliness, all while addressing varying client needs. During patient care shifts, you will assist Veterinarians and Registered Veterinary Technologists in exams, diagnostics, treatments, and surgeries, while ensuring the clinic environment remains clean and well stocked. Effective team communication and collaboration are crucial in both roles.

VOA duties vary, but applicants need to have the physical strength and ability to stand for an entire shift when needed, and be able to lift pets and objects weighing up to 30 pounds without assistance.
The position requires the completion of a high-school degree or further education, competence in the English language, patience, and a pleasant manner. At least 2 years’ office administration experience required and previous industry experience or certification relative to the veterinary profession will be given preference.
