Veterinary Assistant and Receptionist – Calgary, AB – Full Time, Permanent – Overnights (overnight premium wage)

We are hiring a full‑time overnight Tech Assistant Receptionist to join our fun and motivated team of professional pet health caregivers. This position offers the opportunity to experience a stimulating and varied patient caseload and includes an attractive overnight premium added to the wage. Veterinary experience or certificate is an asset but not required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting Veterinarians and Technicians with various tasks and treatment of pet patients
  • Providing compassionate care duties including feeding and walking patients
  • General hospital maintenance including cleaning kennels
  • Completing overnight reception duties including intake and discharge of patients
Qualifications
  • Exceptional client service skills that build trust and loyalty with clients
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with a dynamic and diverse team
  • Compassion and nurturing attitude when providing care to clients and patients
  • Ability to remain calm and efficient in stressful situations
  • Positive outlook and enthusiasm for learning
  • Initiative in carrying out assignments independently
  • Previous veterinary education or certificate is considered an asset
