Veterinary Assistant - Rose Valley Veterinary Hospital Location: West Kelowna, British Columbia

Rose Valley Veterinary Hospital is looking for a compassionate and motivated Veterinary Assistant to join our amazing team. As the only AAHA-accredited hospital in the Okanagan, we’re proud to uphold the highest standards of veterinary care for our patients, clients, and staff.

Your Role

  • Assisting veterinarians and technicians with patient care, using low-stress handling techniques
  • Supporting the client care team and occasionally helping at reception as needed
  • Preparing medications and supplies for clients (under DVM or RVT direction)
  • Providing attentive care to hospitalized patients, including feeding, walking, and comfort
  • Handling, cleaning, and sterilizing surgical equipment
  • Helping keep the hospital running smoothly with general cleaning, restocking, and maintenance duties

Compensation

Starting at $18.00/hour, with increases based on experience.
