Are you an experienced vet assistant looking for more challenge and career growth? Are you up for joining a busy veterinary team? At UVH and TVH, our Vet Tech Assistants (VTA) are integral support to the DVMs and RVTs.
UVH and TVH (sister hospitals) are searching for a multi-tasker with excellent skills in surgery & laboratory preparation, animal restraint, and client communication. Our VTAs have extended responsibilities assisting in patient care, hospital supplies inventory management, equipment maintenance, and more.

We have 2 locations - one in Uxbridge and one in Stouffville with shifts available at both. The hospitals are just 15 minutes apart. Both locations offer daytime, evening, and Saturday appointments. This position offers 30+ hrs per week.
Experience in a vet assistant position in a veterinary hospital or other professional animal care is required for this position. Computer skills and experience with Avimark software are preferred.
Are you an accredited ACA or VA certified (or equivalent)? Even better!
